Description of the Pushpaka Vimana and Ravana’s Inner Palace
ततस्तां प्रस्थितश्शालां ददर्श महतीं शुभाम्।रावणस्य मनः कान्तां कान्तामिव वरस्त्रियम्।।5.9.22।।
tatas tāṃ prasthitaḥ śālāṃ dadarśa mahatīṃ śubhām |
rāvaṇasya manaḥ kāntāṃ kāntām iva varastriyam ||5.9.22||
随后他继续前行,看见一座宏大而吉祥辉煌的殿堂——为罗波那之心所钟爱,宛如他所珍爱的正宫王后。
Then he proceeded to an auspicious hall, which was Ravana's favourite like his chief queen dear to his heart.
Attachment (kāma/āsakti) is subtly foregrounded: what is ‘dear to the heart’ can bind one. The Ramayana’s dharma-vision values disciplined desire under truth, not indulgent attachment.
Guided deeper inside, Hanumān reaches and observes a principal hall especially dear to Rāvaṇa.
Courage with caution: Hanumān advances into the enemy’s most intimate spaces, yet remains observant and controlled.
