Sampati’s Intelligence Report on Sita’s Abduction

大圣仙们对我说:“幸哉,孩子,你还活着。无论如何,他已携那女子从此处离去;你的安然无恙,确然无疑。”
'I heard the great sages saying, 'O dear !you are lucky to be saved. He has somehow gone from here with that lady (without hurting you). Undoubtedly you are lucky.'
Compassionate speech aligned with truth: the sages acknowledge survival as fortune and offer reassurance without deception.
After the abductor departs, sages address Sampāti, noting that he escaped harm and confirming the abduction’s continuation.
Karunā (compassion) in the sages’ words and Sampāti’s receptivity to truthful counsel.
