Rāma Subdues Paraśurāma; the Vaiṣṇava Arrow Is Discharged
रामं दाशरथिं रामो जामदग्न्य: प्रशस्य च।तत: प्रदक्षिणी कृत्य जगामात्मगतिं प्रभु:।।।।
rāmaṁ dāśarathiṁ rāmo jāmadagnyaḥ praśasya ca | tataḥ pradakṣiṇī kṛtya jagāma ātmagatiṁ prabhuḥ ||
随后,强大的持斧罗摩赞美了大沙拉塔之子罗摩;在恭敬地绕行他之后,前往自己注定的归宿。
Infuriated Rama bent the bow stretched it, fixed the arrow and addressed Parasurama, the son of Jamadagni:
Dharma culminates in recognition of rightful superiority and reconciliation: reverence (pradakṣiṇā) replaces rivalry, and conflict ends without lingering hatred.
Paraśurāma praises Rāma, performs pradakṣiṇā, and departs—formally closing the confrontation.
Humility and moral clarity—Paraśurāma honors Rāma once truth is manifest.
