सिद्धाश्रम-प्रसङ्गः
Siddhashrama and the Vāmana Narrative
यथार्हं चक्रिरे पूजां विश्वामित्राय धीमते।तथैव राजपुत्राभ्यामकुर्वन्नतिथिक्रियाम्।।1.29.27।।
yathārhaṃ cakrire pūjāṃ viśvāmitrāya dhīmate |
tathaiva rājaputrābhyām akurvan atithikriyām || 1.29.27 ||
他们依礼向睿智的毗湿瓦密多献上应有的礼敬,也同样以待客之礼款待两位王子。
The two princes of the lineage of Raghu, destroyers of foes rested a while and then said to Viswamitra, a tiger amon sages:
Atithi-dharma: honouring guests appropriately, without neglecting anyone—teacher and princes alike receive due respect.
The hermitage-dwellers welcome Viśvāmitra and also host Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with proper rites of hospitality.
Courtesy and discernment—knowing what is ‘yathārha’ (fitting) and acting accordingly.
