astraṃ brahmaśiraś caiva aiṣīkam api rāghava ||
人中至胜者啊,我赐你金刚之武;亦赐湿婆至上的三叉戟;并且还赐梵天首(Brahmaśiras)之兵与阿伊希迦(Aiṣīka)之兵,罗伽婆啊。
Mighty armed, heroic Rama I shall grant you the great celestial dandachakra. O best among men I shall grant you dharmachakra, kalachakra, visnuchakra, indraastra, vajraastra and the great, trident of Siva, brahmashirastra, ishika astra and highly superior brahmaastra.
The verse implies that the highest powers (associated with gods like Śiva and Indra) must be wielded only under moral discipline and for protection, not domination.
Viśvāmitra lists further divine weapons being transmitted to Rāma as part of his initiation into astra-vidyā.
Humility before sacred tradition: Rāma receives weapons as a duty-bound protector rather than as a conqueror.
