继而,勇士啊,我授你“法轮”与“时轮”;并赐那极其猛烈的“毗湿奴之轮”,以及因陀罗之神兵。
Mighty armed, heroic Rama I shall grant you the great celestial dandachakra. O best among men I shall grant you dharmachakra, kalachakra, visnuchakra, indraastra, vajraastra and the great, trident of Siva, brahmashirastra, ishika astra and highly superior brahmaastra.
Dharma is presented as the governing principle over power: even immense force must be oriented to moral order, while kāla (time) reminds that actions have inevitable consequences.
Viśvāmitra continues the bestowal of divine cakras and Indra’s astra to equip Rāma for the coming protection of the sacrifice.
Trustworthiness under instruction: Rāma is being trained to carry power without deviating from Dharma.
