प्रत्याख्यानम् (Daśaratha’s Objections to Sending Rāma) — Bala Kanda, Sarga 20
निर्विघ्ना व्रतचर्या सा भविष्यति सुरक्षिता।अहं तत्रागमिष्यामि न रामं नेतुमर्हसि।।।।
nirvighnā vratacaryā sā bhaviṣyati surakṣitā | ahaṁ tatrāgamiṣyāmi na rāmaṁ netum arhasi ||
那神圣的誓行必将无碍而行,并得周全护持;我将亲自前往,因此你不应带走罗摩。
Wielding bow in hand I will protect the sacrifice. As long as my life sustains, I will engage the rakshasas in the battle.
Ensuring dharmic rites continue ‘nirvighna’ (without obstruction) is presented as a public good; Daśaratha claims he can secure that good while also fulfilling paternal duty.
Daśaratha promises personal attendance and protection at the rite, again urging Viśvāmitra not to take Rāma.
Responsibility and reassurance—he attempts to guarantee safety and continuity of the ritual.
