सीताया वनगमननिश्चयः
Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest
त्वं हि शक्तो वने कर्तुं राम सम्परिपालनम्।अन्यस्यापि जनस्येह किं पुनर्मम मानद।।।।
tvaṃ hi śakto vane kartuṃ rāma samparipālanam | anyasyāpi janasyeha kiṃ punar mama mānada ||
因为你,罗摩啊,在林中尚能周全护佑他人;更何况是我呢,噢,赐人尊荣者!
O respector of individuals! when you are capable of protecting other people in the forest, what of me?
Dharma is mutual trust within rightful roles: Sītā affirms Rāma’s duty and capacity as protector, grounding her decision in confidence rather than fear.
Sītā answers objections about danger by stating that Rāma can protect her, as he protects others.
Faith and resolve—Sītā’s unwavering confidence in Rāma’s strength and righteousness.
