भरतवाक्यं—रामस्य पुनरायोध्यागमननिषेधः
Bharata’s Plea and Rama’s Refusal to Return
प्रोषिते मयि यत्पापं मात्रा मत्कारणात्कृतम्।क्षुद्रया तदनिष्टं मे प्रसीदतु भवान्मम।।।।
proṣite mayi yat pāpaṃ mātrā matkāraṇāt kṛtam | kṣudrayā tad aniṣṭaṃ me prasīdatu bhavān mama ||
我不在时，母亲因我之故所造之罪——出于卑狭，亦违我本愿——愿你为我之缘故，慈悲宽恕；我在此恳求。
When I was away from home, my mean-minded mother committed a sin for my sake which I never wished. You may pardon me graciously.
