人中之虎啊,既知你就在近旁,我不先见你——我所珍爱的尊贵宾客——便不往梵天界(Brahmaloka)。
O Rama, the best among men! you are a very dear guest to me and knowing that you are near, I will not go to the world of Brahman without seeing you.
Atithi-dharma (duty to the guest): even a transcendent opportunity is deferred to honor a worthy guest with personal audience and respect.
Śarabhaṅga tells Rāma that, although he is being called to Brahmaloka, he chose to wait in order to meet Rāma first.
Śarabhaṅga’s integrity and hospitality—valuing righteous relationship and honor over immediate heavenly ascent.
