FAQs

It states that a woman becomes a “puṇyabhāginī” (a participant in religious merit) by giving birth to virtuous sons who uphold dharma and strengthen the family line.

“Kula-ācāra” refers to the lineage’s righteous customs and ethical conduct, while “kula-ādhāra” means a pillar or support of the family—one who sustains and stabilizes the household and lineage.

It frames filial duty as spiritually significant: a worthy child supports and uplifts parents materially and morally, and is described as helping them “cross over” difficulties—implying gratitude, service, and responsibility toward one’s parents.
