Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
नरसिंहस्य ये भक्त्या भवंति भुवि मानवाः । न तेषां दुष्कृतं किंचित्फलं च स्याद्यदीप्सितम् ॥ ७५ ॥
narasiṃhasya ye bhaktyā bhavaṃti bhuvi mānavāḥ | na teṣāṃ duṣkṛtaṃ kiṃcitphalaṃ ca syādyadīpsitam || 75 ||
世间凡以真诚虔爱(bhakti)成为那罗辛哈(Narasiṃha)信徒之人,其恶业不结其果;所愿之福亦皆圆满。
Narada (teaching in the Uttara-Bhaga discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that wholehearted devotion to Lord Narasiṃha neutralizes the operative “fruit” of wrongdoing and grants the devotee’s rightful desired results, emphasizing divine protection and grace.
Bhakti is presented as a direct, transformative refuge: by becoming Narasiṃha’s devotee, one’s karmic obstacles lose their power to produce harmful outcomes, while auspicious aims are fulfilled through the Lord’s favor.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa-ritual procedure) is taught in this verse; the focus is on bhakti-phala doctrine—how devotion alters karmic results.
