Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
किं चात्र बहुनोक्तेन माहात्म्यं तस्य भामिनि । दृष्ट्वा कृष्णं नरोभक्त्या मोक्षं प्राप्नोति दुर्लभम् ॥ ६० ॥
kiṃ cātra bahunoktena māhātmyaṃ tasya bhāmini | dṛṣṭvā kṛṣṇaṃ narobhaktyā mokṣaṃ prāpnoti durlabham || 60 ||
于此还须多言其伟大吗,佳人啊?人若以虔敬(bhakti)瞻仰克里希纳,即得难得之解脱。
Narada (addressing a female interlocutor, 'bhāmini')
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It declares that the sacred potency (māhātmya) culminates in bhakti: a devoted vision of Krishna itself becomes a direct means to the otherwise rare attainment of moksha.
Bhakti is presented as the decisive factor—mere seeing (darśana) of Krishna, when joined with devotion, is transformative and liberating, emphasizing heartfelt orientation over elaborate description or argument.
No specific Vedanga (such as Vyakarana, Jyotisha, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is devotional practice—seeking Krishna-darshana with bhakti as a soteriological discipline.
