इदं समस्ताघविनाशहेतु कारुण्यसंज्ञं सुखमोक्षदं च । अशेषवांछाफलदं वरिष्ठ स्तोत्रं मयोक्तं पुरुषोत्तमस्य ॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration

idaṃ samastāghavināśahetu kāruṇyasaṃjñaṃ sukhamokṣadaṃ ca | aśeṣavāṃchāphaladaṃ variṣṭha stotraṃ mayoktaṃ puruṣottamasya || 8 ||

Translation

此乃我所宣说、赞颂普鲁绍塔玛（Puruṣottama）的最胜圣歌，名为“迦卢尼耶”（Kāruṇya，慈悲之颂）。它能成为灭尽一切罪业之因，赐予安乐与解脱，并圆满成就诸愿之果。
