诚然,在那圣地安立着七俱胝(七千万)湿婆林伽。仅以一瞻(darśana),便可得诸祭祀(yajña)之果报。
Narada (narrating a tirtha-mahatmya within Uttara-Bhaga tradition)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"Opens with astonishment at the immense multitude of liṅgas and resolves into confident devotion by promising yajña-like merit through mere darśana."}
It teaches the Purāṇic principle of tīrtha-māhātmya: in certain sanctified places, mere darśana can grant merit equivalent to elaborate Vedic yajñas.
By emphasizing darśana (reverent seeing) as spiritually potent, it supports a bhakti-oriented approach where sincere reverence at a sacred site yields great फल (spiritual merit) without complex ritual performance.
Ritual theology is implied through the concept of yajña-phala (the results of sacrifices), showing how Purāṇas map sacrificial merit onto tīrtha practices even when full śrauta procedure is not performed.
