श्राद्धाय पिंडदानाय तर्पणायार्थसिद्धये । तत्कूपयूपयोर्मध्ये कुर्वंस्तारयते पितॄन् ॥ ३ ॥
śrāddhāya piṃḍadānāya tarpaṇāyārthasiddhaye | tatkūpayūpayormadhye kurvaṃstārayate pitṝn || 3 ||
为成就施行śrāddha、奉献piṇḍa-dāna(饭团供)与作tarpaṇa(奠水)之果报——凡在那口井与祭柱yūpa之间行此者,能超度其Pitṛ(祖灵)。
