以七肘之量杖为度,三十杖合为一“尼伐尔塔那”;而“牛皮量”(go-carma,指如一张牛皮之地积)由毗提(梵天)亲自宣说:乃在彼度量上减去三分之一。
Narada (teaching measurement conventions within a tirtha/kshetra context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It preserves śāstric precision: sacred geography and ritual instructions depend on standardized measures, presented here as sanctioned by Vidhi (Brahmā).
Indirectly: bhakti in tīrthas and sacred observances is guided by correct procedure; the verse supports devotion through accurate, scripture-based practice rather than improvisation.
A technical, śāstra-style standardization of measurement (daṇḍa, nivartana, go-carma), aligning with auxiliary disciplines used to apply ritual and sacred-site instructions correctly.
