सप्तहस्तेन दंडेन त्रिंशद्दंडा निवर्तनम् । त्रिभागहीनं गोचर्म मानमाह विधिः स्वयम् ॥ ५८ ॥

Transliteration

saptahastena daṃḍena triṃśaddaṃḍā nivartanam | tribhāgahīnaṃ gocarma mānamāha vidhiḥ svayam || 58 ||

Translation

以七肘之量杖为度，三十杖合为一“尼伐尔塔那”；而“牛皮量”（go-carma，指如一张牛皮之地积）由毗提（梵天）亲自宣说：乃在彼度量上减去三分之一。
