samyagvicārya munibhirgharmaśāstrādibhirvibho | kalpādau vartamānasya yāvadyāvaddinaṃ tava || 8 ||
遍在的主啊,诸牟尼依《法论》(Dharma-śāstra)等权威典籍详加审察,宣说汝之“一日”究竟延续多久——尤其就此现行劫在初始之时而言。
Sanatkumara (in dialogue addressing Narada/Vishnu as contextually implied)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Wonder at cosmic measurement and order, settling into contemplative calm through appeal to sages and authoritative dharma-texts."}
It frames cosmic time (the Lord’s ‘day’) as a shastra-grounded truth verified by sages, reminding the devotee that creation unfolds under divine order and measurable dharma.
By addressing the Lord as Vibhu and emphasizing His cosmic ‘day,’ it cultivates reverence (aiśvarya-bhāva) and steadies devotion through contemplation of the Lord’s governance over time.
It points to authoritative calculation and classification of time—aligned with Jyotiṣa-style time-reckoning—supported by dharma-śāstra and traditional sage analysis.
