तान्विप्रानागतान्दृष्ट्वा वेदवेदांगपारगान् । मोहिनी सहिता राज्ञा ववंदे कार्यतत्परा ॥ ३१ ॥
tānviprānāgatāndṛṣṭvā vedavedāṃgapāragān | mohinī sahitā rājñā vavaṃde kāryatatparā || 31 ||
见到那些已至的婆罗门——通达吠陀与吠陀支(Vedāṅga)者——摩希尼与国王一同向他们顶礼,专注于当下之事。
Narada (narrating within the Uttara-Bhaga Tirtha-Mahatmya framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights dharmic humility: honoring Veda- and Vedāṅga-knowing brāhmaṇas is itself a sacred act that sanctifies one’s intended religious undertaking.
Though not directly naming a deity, it models a core bhakti disposition—reverence and surrender—expressed through respectful bowing to those who preserve and transmit sacred knowledge.
The verse points to mastery of the Vedāṅgas—especially Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Jyotiṣa (timing/auspicious calculation)—as the practical expertise sought when a “task/rite” is to be properly performed.
