तथेदं वाङ्मयं जातं पुराणेभ्यो न संशयः । वेदार्थादधिकं मन्ये पुराणार्थँ वरानने ॥ १७ ॥
tathedaṃ vāṅmayaṃ jātaṃ purāṇebhyo na saṃśayaḥ | vedārthādadhikaṃ manye purāṇārthaṃ varānane || 17 ||
因此，这一切神圣言教之体（vāṅmaya）皆由诸《往世书》（Purāṇa）而生——毫无疑惑。噢，容颜端丽者，我以为《往世书》之义，尤胜于《吠陀》之义。
