taddadau pituriṣṭāyāḥ sānandapulako nṛpaḥ | hiraṇyakaśipoḥ pūrvaṃ yā bhāryā lokasundarī || 43 ||
那位国王欢喜到周身战栗,便将她嫁与父亲所钟爱的、所拣选的新妇;她曾是希兰尼亚迦湿布那位名动世间的绝色妻子。
Narada (narrative voice, within Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya style narration)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights dharmic kingship expressed through rightful giving and social order—actions performed with inner joy (ānanda) are portrayed as spiritually elevating when aligned with dharma.
Bhakti is not stated directly here; however, the verse models the Narada Purana’s broader ethic that devotion is supported by dharmic conduct—pure intent and righteous action become a foundation for later Vishnu-bhakti.
The verse implicitly touches Dharma-śāstra and vivāha (marriage) procedure rather than a specific Vedanga; it reflects correct social-ritual conduct (kalpa-oriented practice) through the act of formal bestowal (dāna).
