因此,婆罗门中最胜者啊,你也应恒常具足善行:作一切众生之依怙,自制调伏,和善友爱,并坚定归依于达摩。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It defines the inner qualifications for spiritual progress: noble conduct, self-restraint, friendliness, and unwavering commitment to dharma—virtues that stabilize the mind and make higher knowledge and devotion fruitful.
By urging maitri (friendliness), compassion toward all beings, and disciplined living, the verse describes the ethical ground of bhakti—devotion is strengthened when one becomes gentle, self-controlled, and dharma-centered.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana or Jyotisha) is taught here; instead, it emphasizes sadachara—practical dharmic discipline that supports all Vedic study, ritual observance, and vrata practice.
