The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
तस्य दर्शयितुं विप्रास्तं न संहृतवान्हरिः । मृकण्डुतनयो धीमान्विष्णुभक्तिसमन्वितः ॥ १९ ॥
tasya darśayituṃ viprāstaṃ na saṃhṛtavānhariḥ | mṛkaṇḍutanayo dhīmānviṣṇubhaktisamanvitaḥ || 19 ||
噢，诸婆罗门！为使其显现为榜样，诃利（Hari）并未将他从世间收回。他是牟利坎度（Mṛkaṇḍu）那位睿智之子，具足对毗湿奴（Viṣṇu）的虔敬之心。
