Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative
नमो नित्याय वन्द्याय सदानन्दैकरुपिणे । नमः स्मृतार्तिनाशाय भूयो भूयो नमो नमः ॥ ६३ ॥
namo nityāya vandyāya sadānandaikarupiṇe | namaḥ smṛtārtināśāya bhūyo bhūyo namo namaḥ || 63 ||
顶礼于永恒者、应受礼敬者,其体性唯是常乐。顶礼于那位能除灭忆念者忧苦的主;再三再三,顶礼——顶礼。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It presents the Lord as nitya (eternal) and sadānanda (ever-bliss), and teaches that sincere remembrance (smaraṇa) is itself a liberating refuge that removes inner affliction.
Bhakti is shown as repeated namaskāra and constant smaraṇa—turning to the Lord again and again—where devotion is not merely ritual but an ongoing relationship that dissolves suffering.
A practical mantra-japa principle is implied: repetitive utterance (bhūyo bhūyaḥ) and correct remembrance/recitation function as a devotional discipline, aligning speech and mind with the deity.
