Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
यजंति ये विष्णुमनंतमूर्तिं निरीक्ष्य चाकारगतं वरेण्यम् । वेदांतवेद्यं भवरोगवैद्यं ते यांति मर्त्याः पदमच्युतस्य ॥ ११३ ॥
yajaṃti ye viṣṇumanaṃtamūrtiṃ nirīkṣya cākāragataṃ vareṇyam | vedāṃtavedyaṃ bhavarogavaidyaṃ te yāṃti martyāḥ padamacyutasya || 113 ||
凡人若礼拜具无量形相的毗湿奴(Viṣṇu)——观想那至可敬的主安住于圣音节“阿(A)”之中——祂为吠檀多(Vedānta)所证知,亦是医治轮回之病的良医——此等众生终得至不堕者阿周陀(Acyuta)之境。
