于施罗陀(Śrāddha)之祭,当恭敬祈祷:“愿依各处与各仪所规定之诸天,皆以圆满专注临在于此。”如是,确应以神圣的ṛc(吠陀颂句)来祈请诸神。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that Śrāddha is not mechanical: the performer must consciously invoke the specifically enjoined deities and request their attentive presence, making the rite inwardly reverent and spiritually effective.
Bhakti here appears as humble supplication—praying to the divine with sincerity and attention—showing that devotion supports ritual by adding reverence, remembrance, and heartfelt invocation.
It emphasizes mantra-prayoga: invoking devas with an ṛc (Vedic verse) according to prescription—an applied aspect of ritual procedure aligned with correct recitation and usage of Vedic hymns.
