Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the lore of omens and auspicious signs)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It classifies everyday objects and occurrences as śubha-nimitta (auspicious omens), guiding a practitioner to begin actions and rites with confidence when favorable signs appear.
While not directly teaching bhakti, it supports devotional life by indicating favorable conditions for commencing pūjā, vrata, and other devotional observances without बाधा (obstruction).
It reflects applied dharma-śāstra style nimitta-śāstra (omenology) used alongside ritual decision-making—practical guidance often paired with calendrical/observational disciplines (jyotiṣa) when choosing proper times and conditions.
