आजं वेश्यस्य विज्ञेयं दंडान्वक्ष्ये यथाक्रमम् । पालाशं ब्राह्मणस्योक्तं नृपस्यौदुम्बरं तथा ॥ १८ ॥
ājaṃ veśyasya vijñeyaṃ daṃḍānvakṣye yathākramam | pālāśaṃ brāhmaṇasyoktaṃ nṛpasyaudumbaraṃ tathā || 18 ||
当知吠舍之杖(daṇḍa)应以aja之木制成。我将依次说明诸杖:婆罗门之杖说为palāśa木;而王者(刹帝利)之杖则为udumbara木。
