Dhvaja-Dhāraṇa Mahātmyam: Sumati–Satyamatī, Humility, and Deliverance by Hari’s Messengers
एवं हरिपरं नित्यं राजानं धर्मकोविदम् । प्रियां सत्यमतिं चास्य देवा अपि सदास्तुवन् ॥ १३ ॥
evaṃ hariparaṃ nityaṃ rājānaṃ dharmakovidam | priyāṃ satyamatiṃ cāsya devā api sadāstuvan || 13 ||
如是,诸天也常常赞颂那位国王——恒以哈利为至上,通达正法——并同样赞颂他所钟爱的王后萨提亚玛蒂。
Narada (narrating to the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links ideal kingship with unwavering devotion to Hari and competence in dharma, showing that such virtue becomes worthy of divine praise.
Bhakti is presented as “nitya” (constant) orientation toward Hari; when devotion is steady and integrated with dharmic conduct, it gains universal recognition—even from the Devas.
No specific Vedanga is taught in this verse; the practical emphasis is dharma-kovida—competent application of dharma in governance (Rajadharma) alongside Vishnu-bhakti.
