当以安定之心,随己之力行施芝麻之供;智者亦当依法于火中如仪献芝麻供(tila-homa)。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes two complementary means of purification and merit—dāna (charitable giving) and homa (sacrificial offering)—performed with mental composure and in accordance with one’s means.
Though framed as ritual instruction, it supports bhakti by cultivating sincerity, discipline, and self-offering—qualities that prepare the devotee for dedicated worship and service.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implicit: the verse stresses vidhivat performance—doing dāna and homa according to prescribed rules and competent execution.
