Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
इति या भवति श्रद्धा सा तद्भक्तिः प्रकीर्त्तिता । सर्वभूतमयो विष्णुः परिपूर्णः सनातनः ॥ ३३ ॥
iti yā bhavati śraddhā sā tadbhaktiḥ prakīrttitā | sarvabhūtamayo viṣṇuḥ paripūrṇaḥ sanātanaḥ || 33 ||
如是所说的信心(śraddhā),即被宣称为对祂的奉爱(bhakti)。毗湿奴遍在一切众生之精髓中,乃永恒而圆满、全具的主。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It equates true śraddhā (steadfast, trusting faith in the Lord) with bhakti itself, and grounds devotion in the insight that Viṣṇu pervades all beings as the eternal, complete reality.
Bhakti is defined here not merely as external worship but as inner conviction and reliance on Viṣṇu; when one recognizes Him as present in all beings, devotion matures into a stable, liberating orientation toward the Lord.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical-spiritual: cultivate śraddhā and see Viṣṇu’s presence in all beings to stabilize bhakti.
