若在进食之时,婆罗门因某种缘故忽成不净,应先将那一口食物置于地上。随后沐浴得净,再回来进食。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It teaches śauca (purity) as a foundation for dharma: when impurity arises, one should pause the act of eating, regain ritual cleanliness through bathing, and only then partake—aligning daily conduct with sacred discipline.
Though focused on conduct, it supports bhakti by emphasizing reverence and mindfulness in ordinary acts like eating; purity and restraint are presented as practical supports for a sattvic life conducive to devotion.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual procedure (proper conduct and expiation): how to respond to aśauca at mealtime—set aside the food, perform snāna, and resume only after purification.
