Vāmana’s Advent, Aditi’s Hymn, Bali’s Gift, and the Mahatmya of Bhū-dāna
श्रीभगवानुवाच । तात तुष्टोऽस्मि भद्रं ते भविष्यति सुरार्चिता । अचिरात्साधयिष्यामि निखिलं त्वन्मनोरथम् ॥ ८३ ॥
śrībhagavānuvāca | tāta tuṣṭo'smi bhadraṃ te bhaviṣyati surārcitā | acirātsādhayiṣyāmi nikhilaṃ tvanmanoratham || 83 ||
世尊曰:“孩子,我已欢喜。愿吉祥归于你,噢连诸天亦敬奉者。不久我将圆满成就你心中一切所愿。”
Śrī Bhagavān (the Blessed Lord)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights anugraha (divine grace): when the Lord is pleased, auspiciousness arises and the devotee’s sincere inner aims are swiftly brought to completion.
Bhakti is shown as relational and grace-centered—pleasing Bhagavān through devotion results in the Lord’s direct assurance of protection and fulfillment, reinforcing trust (śraddhā) in the devotee–Lord bond.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught here; the practical takeaway is theological—divine satisfaction (tuṣṭi) is the key outcome sought through right worship and conduct.
