The story underscores how actions and consequences spread across social circles; companions become stakeholders in one another’s fate—an ethical reminder about shared accountability.
Vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita flavor through naming of persons and descent; serves as narrative scaffolding for the curse episode.
The pairing of Vidyādhara and muni lineages hints at a meeting of ‘power/skill’ and ‘ascetic merit’; imbalance or disrespect toward tapas will become the trigger for downfall.
