Adhyaya 52 — The Manifestation of Nilalohita (Rudra) and the Allocation of His Names, Abodes, Consorts, and Lineages

The genealogy ties theological forms to observable cosmic regulators (grahas) and revered deities (Skanda), reinforcing the Purāṇic aim: to connect mythic lineage with the experienced structure of time and fate.
Vaṁśa (lineages) embedded within Sarga: the text enumerates progeny to establish cosmic administration and sacred genealogical memory.
By linking Rudra-forms to planetary and potency-names (Manojava, Santāna), the tradition suggests that transformative Rudra-energy expresses itself as time (Saturn), desire/attraction (Venus), intellect/commerce (Mercury), and martial divine force (Skanda).
