Adhyaya 51 — Yaksha Injunctions: Graha-Children and Female Spirits Causing Domestic and Ritual Disruptions
तेनात्मरक्षणायालं शान्तिं कुर्याद्विजोत्तम ।
गेहे प्रसूतिर् एतेषां तद्वन् नीडनिवेशनम् ॥
tenātma-rakṣaṇāyālaṃ śāntiṃ kuryād dvijottama | gehe prasūtir eteṣāṃ tadvan nīḍa-niveśanam ||
因此,为护持自身,应当修行息灾之仪(śānti),噢,婆罗门中之最胜者。同样地,若这些鸟兽在家中产子,或在其中筑巢安居,也是不祥之兆。

When negative signs appear, the advised response is not panic but ordered remedy—śānti—restoring harmony in the home and mind. Household dharma includes maintaining an environment conducive to sattva.
This is explicitly dharma/ācāra material (ritual pragmatics), outside the five main purāṇic markers, but characteristic of purāṇas as living guides for conduct.
A ‘nest in the house’ signifies the settling of a subtle influence into one’s inner space; śānti is the ritual analogue of inner clearing and re-centering.
