Adhyaya 38 — Dattatreya on Non-Identification (Mamata) and the Path to Liberation
मशकोडुम्बरेषीकामुञ्जमत्स्याम्भसां यथा ।
एकत्वे 'पि पृथग्भावस्तथा क्षेत्रात्मनोर् नृप ! ॥
maśakoḍumbareṣīkāmuñjamatsyāmbhasāṃ yathā |
ekatve 'pi pṛthagbhāvastathā kṣetrātmanornṛpa ! ||
正如蚋虫、优昙婆罗之果、芦苇/纤维、牟阇草、鱼与水——虽被并举而说——彼此仍各自有别;同样地,王啊,田界(kṣetra)与自我(ātman)之间亦有分明之别。
