Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
आचामेत् पुत्र ! पुण्याभिः प्राङ्मुखोदङ्मुखोऽपि वा ।
अन्तर्जलादावसथाद्वल्मीकान्मूषिकस्थलात् ॥
ācāmet putra puṇyābhiḥ prāṅmukhodaṅmukho 'pi vā | antarjalād āvasathād valmīkān mūṣikasthalāt ||
子啊,当以净水行阿遮摩那(ācamana),面向东方——亦可面向北方。应避取封闭之水、积滞之水,亦避居处之水、蚁丘之水,以及鼠类出没之处之水。
