तस्मात् सर्वे समुत्क्षिप्य शivikāyāṃ सुरार्दनाः ।
आरोप्य स्वमधिष्ठानं नयाम इति निश्चिताः ॥
tasmāt sarve samutkṣipya śivikāyāṃ surārdanāḥ | āropya svam adhiṣṭhānaṃ nayāma iti niścitāḥ ||
因此,那些折磨诸天者都决意道:“把她抬起,安置在肩舆上,带到我们的住处去。”
When desire becomes collective policy, wrongdoing gains momentum and ‘certainty’ (niścaya). The verse shows the social dimension of adharma: group reinforcement replaces conscience.

The palanquin symbolizes the ego’s attempt to ‘carry off’ śrī (splendour) as property. In spiritual terms, it is the appropriation impulse—trying to possess what must be revered.
