Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | babhūvur atisaṃrabdhāḥ kṛtapraharaṇā narāḥ |

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：那些曾历旧战的男子，战意愈发炽烈，披挂齐整，蓄势待击。此景传达战争之势的膨胀——老练的战士、备妥的兵刃、被点燃的情绪——昭示一旦自制与劝谏失守，群体的亢奋便会迅速凝结为暴烈的杀伐。
