भीष्म-द्रोणादिभिः पाण्डवसेनाक्षयकाल-निर्णयः | Time-estimates for the depletion of the Pāṇḍava forces

ते समेत्य यथान्यायं धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबला: । कुरुक्षेत्रस्य पश्चार्थे व्यवातिष्ठन्त दंशिता:
te sametya yathānyāyaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrā mahābalāḥ | kurukṣetrasya paścārthe vyavātiṣṭhanta daṃśitāḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：持国之强子们依礼依序会集，披甲执兵，整装待发，遂在俱卢之野（Kurukṣetra）西侧列阵而立。此景昭示战前的严整与戒备：外在的秩序与武备既已确立，而关于正法与王权正统的更大道义冲突，仍在徐徐展开。
