Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
साधु साध्विति ते सर्वे पूजयांचक्रिरे तदा । चक्कुश्वैव यथान्यायं डिण्डिकस्य वचो<र्थवत्,“तब बहुत अच्छा, बहुत अच्छा” कहकर उन सबने डिंडिककी बड़ी प्रशंसा की और यथोचितरूपसे उसके सार्थक वचनोंका पालन किया
sādhu sādhv iti te sarve pūjayāṃ cakrire tadā | cakṣuṣvaiva yathānyāyaṃ ḍiṇḍikasya vaco'rthavat ||
三阇耶说:于是众鼠齐声称赞“善哉!善哉!”,并礼敬顶迪迦。它们依礼受持其言,照着去行,知其言辞切要而有深意。
संजय उवाच
Meaningful counsel deserves recognition and should be followed in a manner consistent with propriety (yathānyāya). Ethical deliberation is shown not only by praising good speech but by acting upon it appropriately.
After Diṇḍika speaks, the assembled listeners respond with approval—saying “sādhu, sādhu”—and formally honor him, then proceed to accept and implement his substantial advice.
