निरुक्त वेदविदुषो वेदशब्दार्थचिन्तका: । ते मां गायन्ति प्राग्वंशे अधोक्षज इति स्थिति:
nirukta-vedaviduṣo veda-śabdārtha-cintakāḥ | te māṃ gāyanti prāgvaṃśe adhokṣaja iti sthitiḥ ||
通晓吠陀、精于词源之学并深思吠陀词义的贤者,端坐于祭殿一隅的 prāgvaṃśa(祭堂的一部分),以“阿多克沙阇(Adhokṣaja)”之名歌咏我的荣耀。因此,我之名“阿多克沙阇”便由吠陀的赞颂与明解而确立。
