आट्यः कठस्तैत्तिरिश्च वैशम्पायनपूर्वज: । कण्वो<थ देवहोत्रश्न एते षोडश कीर्तिता:

Transliteration

āṭyaḥ kaṭhas taittiriś ca vaiśampāyana-pūrvajaḥ | kaṇvo 'tha devahotraś ca ete ṣoḍaśa kīrtitāḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“阿提耶（Āṭya）、迦吒（Kaṭha）、泰提利（Taittiri）以及毗舍波耶那（Vaiśampāyana）的兄长；同样还有迦那婆（Kaṇva）与提婆霍特罗（Devahotra）——这些被宣称为十六位。”
