Educational Q&A

Human senses and strength have limits; when confronted with the Lord’s overwhelming, indescribable splendor, ordinary perception fails. The passage underscores humility and the need for inner preparedness (purity, steadiness) to apprehend higher truth.

Bhīṣma describes a moment when the Lord’s radiance powerfully draws the mind, yet the observers cannot see clearly because their eyes and faculties are overpowered—suggesting an encounter with a divine manifestation that exceeds normal sensory capacity.
