Śoka-śamana: Kṛṣṇa’s Consolation and Nārada’s Exempla to Sṛñjaya
Chapter 29
“'मेघ समयपर वर्षा करके खेतीको अच्छे ढंगसे सम्पन्न करता था--उसे बढ़ने और फ़ूलने-फलनेका अवसर देता था। रामके राज्य-शासनकालमें सदा सुकाल ही रहता था (कभी अकाल नहीं पड़ता था) ।।
prāṇino nāpsu majjanti nānyathā pāvako 'dahat | rujābhayaṁ na tatrāsīd rāme rājyaṁ praśāsati ||
罗摩治国之时,云雨应时而下,使农事圆满、田畴丰收。众生无有溺于水者;火亦不以反常或不义之方式焚伤于人;更无疾病之惧。此偈描绘理想之治:在正法王政之下,自然与社会和谐相应,寻常祸患亦不再威胁群生。
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse teaches that righteous governance (rājadharma) produces social and even natural well-being: when a king rules in accordance with dharma, the realm becomes secure, orderly, and free from pervasive fear—symbolized by the absence of drowning, wrongful fire, and disease.
Vāyudeva describes the exemplary conditions said to prevail under Rāma’s rule, presenting Rāma-rājya as a benchmark of ideal kingship where subjects are protected and the elements themselves do not become sources of harm.
