Chapter 29

“उन नदियोंमें सैकड़ों और हजारोंकी संख्यामें सुवर्णमय मत्स्यों, ग्राहों और कछुओंको गिराया गया देख अतिथिप्रिय राजा सुहोत्र आश्वर्यचकित हो उठे थे ।।

tad dhiraṇyam aparyantam āvṛtaṃ kurujāṅgale | ījāno vitate yajñe brāhmaṇebhyaḥ samārpayat ||

见诸河之中被投下成百上千的金鱼、金鳄与金龟,素以敬客著称的苏霍特罗王(Suhotra)惊奇失色。那无量的黄金堆积,遍覆拘卢旃伽罗(Kurujāṅgala)之地。苏霍特罗遂于彼处举行盛大祭祀;当仪轨依次铺陈之时,他将全部宝藏作为达克希那(dakṣiṇā,祭礼酬赠)施与诸婆罗门。
