सा तु शापपरित्रस्ता तत्स्वभावानुवर्तिनी । मायूरजीर्णपर्णानां वस्त्र तस्याश्व वर्णितम्‌

Transliteration

sā tu śāpaparitrastā tatsvabhāvānuvartinī | māyūra-jīrṇa-parṇānāṃ vastraṃ tasyāś ca varṇitam ||

Translation

那罗陀说道：她因惧怕诅咒，便完全依循丈夫的性情与意向而行。据说她的衣裳是用孔雀脱落的旧羽毛缀合而成，用以遮蔽其身。
