कदाचित् प्रातरुत्थाय पिस्पक्षु:ः सलिल॑ं शुचि । ध्रुवद्वारभवां गड्ां जगामावततार च
kadācit prātar utthāya pipakṣuḥ salilaṁ śuci | dhruvadvārabhavāṁ gaṅgāṁ jagāmāvatatāra ca ||
毗湿摩说道:有一次,他清晨早起,心愿在清净之水中沐浴。他来到从“德鲁瓦门”(Dhruvadvāra)流出的恒河岸边,随即下入河中沐浴——此举体现了依循法(dharma)而行之人应有的自律与净化之行。
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic discipline through morning rising and ritual purification—outer cleanliness serving as a support for inner restraint and right conduct.
A person (as recounted by Bhīṣma) rises at dawn, goes to the Gaṅgā said to flow from Dhruvadvāra, and enters the river to bathe.
