जैगीषव्ये तपश्चास्य प्रशंसन्ति तपस्विन: । तब बृहस्पति आदि सब देवता और तपस्वी वहाँ आकर जैगीषव्य मुनिके तपकी प्रशंसा करने लगे

Transliteration

jaigīṣavye tapaś cāsya praśaṃsanti tapasvinaḥ |

Translation

毗湿摩耶那说道：在场的苦行者称赞耆吉沙毗耶（Jaigīṣavya）的苦行；婆罗诃斯波提（Bṛhaspati）与诸天并众仙圣也来到那里，颂扬这位牟尼的苦修（tapas），宣示：若修持坚定而清净，其灵性纪律便连神明亦当敬礼。
